Are you feeling overwhelmed with everything there is to do every day and every week and every month and and and…? Try this short break when you need a quick time-out:

  1. Close your eyes, if you can.
  2. Take several deep breaths. Slowly inhale and slowly exhale (bonus points for audible exhales).
  3. Focus mentally on something positive. You can almost always find something positive in your day — a loved one, your pet, a wonderful smell, sunshine.
  4. Revel in that positive image. Really lean into it and enjoy it.
  5. Repeat periodically as needed.

You’ll be surprised how a short break like this can really help you. You got this. 🙌🏻
