THING 1 — Helpful link: Take a 1-minute break with this super simple app (genius!).
THING 2 — Random fun fact: Scotland has 421 words and expressions for snow, including terms like “snaw” (snow), “sneesl” (to begin to rain or snow), and “skelf” (a large snowflake). These words describe different types of snow, such as snow that is more rain-like, swirling snow, and light snowfall.
THING 3 — TWW tips: Looking to outsource? Finding someone to outsource tasks to can be stressful, especially if you’ve never done it before. There are a few things you can avoid, to give you the best chance at finding a lasting partnership. (If you missed parts one and two the last two weeks, you can catch up in the TWW Archives.)
The third thing to avoid is: Looking for a unicorn. If “unicorns” (e.g., the absolute most perfect of all assistants) exist at all, they are exceedingly rare — and guess what, you don’t really need one. Instead of wasting time hunting for a unicorn, find yourself someone that can do the main job you need done. If you have other work that person can’t do, find others! There are no rules that say you can only get one.
