The Weekend Whirlwind #35

Hey there β€” happy Saturday! πŸ˜„

Welcome to the final 2024 issue of The Weekend Whirlwind. Can you believe I’ve been consistently writing and sending this newsletter every Saturday since May 4th?

I may be consistently inconsistent on a lot of other things, but at least I’ve been getting this one nailed down… πŸ˜‚ I’d love to hear your feedback, if you have a moment!

As a reminder, TWW is a quick weekend email with a few thoughts or articles or tips to help you out. Or just stuff to share, which may not even be business related. Short, sweet, and to the point. πŸ˜‰

THINGS FOR THIS WEEKEND’S WHIRLWIND:

THING 1 β€” Helpful link: Wanting to start a new blog? This blog post has a good framework for choosing a profitable niche.

THING 2 β€” Random fun fact: A cluster of bananas is called a “hand.” A single banana is called a “finger.” So, if you give someone a single banana… <insert juvenile joke here 😁>

THING 3 β€” TWW tips: How about a fun AI prompt as a tip? Try this one in your favorite AI text generator: “Help me write a super cool email on [XXX subject] to my [client/customers/buyers].”

THING(S) 4:

~ Freebie of the week: from Trish at EZInspo, get her new Get Organized Lead Magnet Pack.

~ Deal of the week: from Lucy at Cheers to Productivity, get her Effortless Content Ideas for just $9.

THING 5 β€”Β TWW Book Club: Alright, one more book recommendation this week. I’ll switch it up for January. Pinky promise. πŸ˜‰

Atomic Habits β€” by James Clear. From the Amazon sales page: “If you’re having trouble changing your habits, the problem isn’t you. The problem is your system.”

You’ve probably heard of this book, maybe rolled your eyes at the hype if you haven’t read it already. But some things live up to their hype. This book is one of them. It’s a game-changer if you’re looking to develop better habits and break unproductive ones. It promotes making small consistent changes that add up to huge results over time, which is a better way to incorporate habits long-term. Everyone should have this on their reading list.

That’s it for this time β€” let me know what you think, and have a great weekend! See you in 2025… 😎
