Welcome to the 20th issue of The Weekend Whirlwind. 🥳 🎉 I’ve been doing this particular newsletter weekly and consistently for 4 months now — every/anything else during the week has been somewhat more, shall we say, sporadic, lol — and have gotten lovely feedback about the content and style. And now back to the basics — as a reminder, TWW is a quick weekend email with a few thoughts or articles or tips to help you out. Or just stuff to share, which may not even be business related. Short, sweet, and to the point. 😉
THINGS FOR THIS WEEKEND’S WHIRLWIND:
THING 1 — Helpful link: An interesting post on 34 important life lessons learned (not all are business-related; #7 is one I totally do, and #30 is a 5-star thought).
THING 2 — Random fun fact: The first movie ever to put out a motion-picture soundtrack was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
THING 3 — TWW tips: 10 Minute Tasks. Got 5-10 minutes before your next call or meeting or episode of your favorite TV show? Keep a list of quick tasks that you can do during those brief breaks, perfect to keep you moving forward when you’re short on time. A few to get you started:
- clear off/declutter your desk
- read/delete as many emails as you can
- respond to several emails
- unsubscribe from a few email lists you no longer want to be on

THING 5 — TWW Wisdom: If you are more fortunate than others, build a longer table rather than a taller fence.
