Hey there! Happy Saturday! π
Welcome to the 14th issue of The Weekend Whirlwind. As a reminder, TWW is a quick weekend email with a few thoughts or articles or tips to help you out. Or just stuff to share, which may not even be business related. Short, sweet, and to the point. π
THINGS FOR THIS WEEKEND’S WHIRLWIND:
THING 1 β Helpful link: Not feeling it in your business? Listen to this podcast episode on how to show up when you donβt feel like working.
THING 2 β Random Olympic fun fact: In the 1936 Olympics two Japanese pole vaulters, Sueo Εe and Shuhei Nishida, essentially tied for second and third place. Although a tie-breaker was used to award their medals officially, when they returned to Japan the two friends cut their medals in half and fused them to one another so each athlete ended up with a half-silver, half-bronze medal. They became known as “The Medals of Friendship”.
THING 3 β TWW tips: Another tip for overcoming imposter syndrome β Share Your Feelings. Talk to a mentor, friend, or therapist about your feelings of self-doubt. Often, you’ll find that others have experienced the same struggles. Opening up can provide reassurance and help you feel less isolated.
THING 4 β Freebie of the week: from Trish at Publish for Prosperity, get her free 30 Days of Social Media.
THING 5 β TWW Wisdom: Weird but true: If you continually give, you will continually have.
That’s it for this time β let me know what you think, and have a great weekend! π
