Hey there β happy Wednesday! π
Welcome to The Midweek Memo. I know your inbox is busy, so each issue will be short and snappy, a quick helpful email you can get through in a flash. π
Sometimes it can be hard to take action because we’re afraid of doing the wrong thing, taking the wrong step, moving in the wrong direction.
But if you don’t take any action, isn’t that almost the same thing as taking the wrong action? If you never do anything, you can’t do the right thing, take the right step, move in the right direction.
Taking imperfect action is better than no action. So for those days when you’re dithering on what, if any, action to take, how can you choose? Surprise! There’s a prompt for that. π This particular prompt can shift your focus from paralyzing perfectionism to immediate progress, emphasizing that done is better than perfect:
What is the smallest, most ‘B-minus’ quality step I can take in the next 10 minutes to move [this task/project] forward?
Give it a try, and see what happens. π
That’s it for this time β let me know what you think, and have a great rest of the week! π
PS β If youβre balancing multiple projects, The One-Thing Focus GPT will help narrow your priorities and cut through the noise.
