The Midweek Memo #47

Hey there — happy Wednesday! 😄

Welcome to The Midweek Memo. I know your inbox is busy, so each issue will be short and snappy, a quick helpful email you can get through in a flash. 😉

If you’re running a business, then one thing you always need to be doing is growing your list so you can expand your reach to more people. It’s no good having excellent services and/or products if nobody knows about them, right?

Collaboration is a great way to grow the list, as well as open doors to new opportunities and fresh ideas, and even be able to engage with other business owners.

Here’s a few ways to find potential collaborators:

  1. Participate in Bundles: Team up with others to create valuable offers that benefit everyone involved by submitting a product to a bundle. A lot of my list has joined from a paid or free bundle (hiiiiiiii! 👋🏻) and you’ll see me promote them often, even when I’m not involved in one. Bundles used to be fairly rare, but in the last 2-3 years, they’ve become so popular that it’s a rare day that you won’t see multiple bundles being promoted by someone.
  2. Communities and Groups: Join online groups related to what you do. Engaging in these communities can lead to unexpected partnerships. Facebook groups are still the most popular and common, and easiest to find, but a lot of communities are also popping up in Skool, Heartbeat, Circle, and other platforms.
  3. Do Freebie Swaps: Exchange freebie emails with other businesses to expand your reach and offer more value to your audience. It’s best, of course, to be sure that what you offer is of interest to their list, and vice versa.
  4. Speak in Summits: Push past the fear and share your expertise at online or in-person summits. Yeah, this isn’t one you’ll likely find me doing, at least not as a speaker. Soooo not my thing. But I’ve been involved with a group of women (hi Divas!) in summits by providing moderating/guiding support for the live aspects as well as contributing to the associated documents. So if you’re not a speaker either, there are still ways to adapt this to make it work for you.
  5. Network, Network, Network: Attend events, masterclasses, and online discussion groups. Social media is great for connecting with like-minded professionals.

So get out there, and grow grow grow your list! 😉

That’s it for this time — let me know what you think, and have a great rest of the week! 😎
