Hey there — happy Saturday! 😄
Welcome to The Weekend Whirlwind. As a reminder, TWW is a quick weekend email with a few thoughts or articles or tips to help you out. Or just stuff to share, which may not even be business related. Short, sweet, and to the point. 😉
THINGS FOR THIS WEEKEND’S WHIRLWIND:
THING 1 — Helpful link: Get some quick time management tips in this article.
THING 2 — Random fun fact: The Leaning Tower of Pisa is tilted because of the soft soil on which it’s built, which also acts as a shock absorber during earthquakes, preventing destructive vibrations from toppling the structure.
THING 3 — TWW Quick Tip: Wanting to post more consistently on social media, without having it take up all your time? Schedule your easiest posts first. If you’re mixing in inspirational, motivational, or similar quote posts, do those to start with because those are usual easiest (with templates or free samples especially). Then start tackling other content that take a little more time and thought.
THING(S) 4:
~ Partner Freebie of the week: from Sage Grayson, get her Free Gifts and Favorites Pages Workshop.
~ Partner Deal of the week: from Michele at The Creative Wildheart, get her Simple Monthly Calendar Mini Template Kit for just $14.
THING 5 — TWW Break Time Idea: Everyone needs a break, and this is the perfect time of year for this idea: Watch an episode of a new TV show. Even though “new fall TV” is not the must see event it used to be, there are still several new shows that have recently premiered or will soon. Check the reviews and see if something catches your interest. And if not, check any streaming services you have and maybe you’ll find a new-to-you show that you’ve wanted to watch and just haven’t gotten to yet. Even the free services like Tubi and Pluto have a ton of new-ish and older shows you may have never seen!
That’s it for this time — let me know what you think, and have a great weekend! 😎
