Hey there β happy Wednesday! π
Welcome to The Midweek Memo. I know your inbox is busy, so each issue will be short and snappy, a quick helpful email you can get through in a flash. π
After a long hard year, and with the fun and excitement of the holidays starting to overtake everything, your creative spark may be a little dull and you may feel a bit stuck.
Sometimes, all it takes to get out of a rut is a change of pace. Embracing something new can open the floodgates to creativity and motivation. Try these simple activities:
- Switch Up Your Routine: Break out of the norm. Do a different morning routine, rearrange your workspace, or switch up your menu. Even tiny shifts can stimulate big ideas.
- Explore Nature: Next time you feel overwhelmed or bored, step outside. A quick walk can introduce fresh thoughts; nature has a magical way of relieving stress.
- Try a New Hobby: Pick up the paintbrush, crochet needles or a drumstick. Getting your hands busy with a new (or old) hobby allows you to explore new things risk-free, allowing ideas to flow without judgment. (I like doing puzzle games like Sudoku or number matching, as they use my brain in a different way.)
The combination of physical energy and new experiences opens pathways in your brain, and humans thrive on those energetic sparks. Switch it up, and donβt be surprised when grand ideas or solutions pop into your head. π
That’s it for this time β let me know what you think, and have a great rest of the week! π
