THING 2 — Random fun fact: Do you follow the 5-second rule on whether it’s “safe” to eat food that falls on the floor? Fun fact: Women are more likely to eat food off the floor than men, according to a 2003 study, and people are more likely to eat fallen sweets than vegetables (well, DUH).
THING 3 — TWW tips: Do you get caught up in thinking you’re “behind” when life throws you a curveball? You have things planned out and then get derailed by something unexpected like blizzards, fire (shout out to the Los Angeles folks 💔), health issues, family stuff, or whatEVER.
Life is gonna life, and it’s pretty much impossible to completely plan for the unforeseeable. Don’t succumb to the illusion of being “behind” — instead, let’s reframe our thinking. Here’s one way:
Roll with the Punches: Life does throw curveballs. Embrace the unexpected surprises and remember that setbacks are part of the journey. And that’s okay. Just pick up and keep going.
